Backup Recovery & Media Services (BRMS)

BRMS (Backup Recovery & Media Services) provides true online backup support for Lotus Servers such as Domino and QuickPlace. These servers can be saved while they are in use, with no “save-while-active” synchronization points. BRMS has been enhanced to provide incremental backup and point-in-time restore of Lotus Server databases. BRMS recovery provides for the orderly retrieval of lost or damaged data with comprehensive reports that take clients step-by-step through recovery of the entire system. BRMS media management tracks all a client’s tapes and save files, tracking media from tape creation to expiration.
