IT Telesales Storage Solutions Professional
We are experiencing significant growth in our core markets and further expanding our portfolio in data management, storage related solutions, and managed services offerings to meet the needs of our clients. We are seeking an inside sales professional to be based in our headquarters location in Northern, NJ. This technical savvy individual will have a hunter mentality and ability to identify new prospects in the geography, set the initial value proposition and then engage our Storage Account Managers to complete the sales cycle.
Background/Experience:
- 2-4 yrs + relevant sales experience selling in an IT solutions oriented environment focusing on data management and computer storage hardware, software and services.
- Experience working for a technology solutions provider, manufacturer, or software company.
- Specific selling experience with virtualization, backup, data recovery, data protection, replication and archiving solutions is highly desirable.
- Verifiable track record as a top, or emerging sales performer and leader.
- History of seeking out and capturing the attention of Directors of IT, CIOs and IT Managers through telemarketing, event follow up, networking and other relationship development activities.

- Skill set and motivation to aggressively and creatively pursue new business through networking and cold calls, along with some warm leads generated through our marketing events and website.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to connect with prospects and establish the initial interest in our portfolio of solutions.
- Strong teaming, collaboration and customer management skills.
- Desire and ability to work with team members to identify and serve the data management needs of our customers and prospects.
